5 types of animated brushes created in GIMP |
Two dimensional animated brush (see below image): When we move brush stroke, it will change brush shapes from square to circle to diamond and will also change the colors from blue to pink to red). Spacing is of 100%.

Three dimensional animated brush (see below image): When we move brush stroke, it will change shapes from circle to star to diamond and then to circle with the changing colors from cyan to green to orange and then to red, and then it will paint the shapes from blue square to pink diamond to green star and then brown square. And thus, it will repeat the sequence. This animated brush uses three dimensional concept because I have created this brush using 2 stacks (layers) each containing two columns and two rows with different shapes and with different colors.

One dimensional animated brush (see below 2 images): When we selected this brush and move the stroke, it will paint the numbers from 1 to 4 in ascending order. I have created this brush for any educational graphic designs. To create this brush, I have used character tools, so in future I can simply modify font-style, font-size and font-color.

Directional animated brush (see below images): This is also a 3 dimensional brush. I have created this brush by painting 8 different shapes of hands. If you see accurately, you will find two hand shapes (left hand & right hand) for all 4 directions upward, right side, downward, and left side directions. With this brush selected, when we stroke upward side, it will paint upward hands (right and left hand shapes alternately), when we move right side, it will paint hands pointing to right (right and left hand shapes alternately), when we move down side, it will paint hands pointing to down (right and left hand shapes alternately) and finally when we move brush to left, it will paint hands pointing to left direction (right and left hand shapes alternately). You can also observe that brush uses two colors randomly (blue and black). So, here I have used 3 commands for each dimension: angular (for hand direction), incremental (for left and right hand alternation) and random (for changing of colors blue and black).

One dimensional angular brush: This brush paints numbers from 1 to 4 (same as the third brush type), but I have used angular option while creating this brush, so brush will change the number when it changes direction (1 for upward move, 2 for right move, 3 for downward move and 4 for left move).
